September 2015 CHC Newsletter

30 September 2015
"Following on from the Cowes Harbour Advisory Committee (CHAC) meeting last week, we were pleased to be able to organise a breakwater inspection trip for CHAC members today," writes Harbour Master Capt. Stuart McIntosh.

"The CHAC's involvement in the breakwater project, on behalf of harbour users, continues to be vital and you can keep up with the Committee's activities by reading the minutes from their meetings which are all published on the CHC website.

I hope you can all enjoy the forecasted fine weather over the next few days, and if you don't live or work in Cowes, then I encourage you to make an autumn visit to the harbour."

Read our September newsletter for all the latest news from Cowes Harbour Office, including a breakwater construction update, news from the Solent Protection Society, an article on how the Island was formed, a report from the Cowes-Torquay-Cowes Powerboat Race and more.
