that from 0400, 4th October 2021, new UK Government rules come into effect regarding international travel and vaccine status.
From Monday 4th October 2021, the rules for international travel to England will change from the ‘traffic light’ system to a single Red List of countries and simplified travel measures for arrivals from the rest of the world. The travel rules from countries not on the red list will depend on your vaccination status.
If you arrive in England before Monday 4th October, you must follow the current rules. Please see the Government’s 'Red, amber and green' list rules for entering England

From Monday 4th October 2021, if you qualify as fully vaccinated you will be required to book and pay for a day 2 COVID-19 test
, complete a Passenger Locator Form
and take a COVID-19 test on or before Day 2 after you arrive in England.
To qualify as fully vaccinated, you must have had a complete course of an approved vaccine at least 14 days before you arrive in England. Please see the Government’s approved vaccination programme guidance.Travel from the rest of the world if you are not fully vaccinated
Before you arrive in England you must:
1. Take a pre-departure COVID-19
test in the 3 days before you travel,
2. Book and pay for Day 2 and Day 8 COVID-19 tests
to be taken after arrival
3. Complete your Passenger Locator Form
. After you arrive in England you must quarantine for 10 days and take a COVID-19 test on day 2 and 8.
You may be able to end quarantine early if you pay for a private COVID-19 test through Test to Release scheme
. Travel from red countries
If you arrive in England from a Red List country, regardless of your vaccination status, you will only be allowed to enter the UK if you are a British or Irish national or have residence rights in the UK. Please see the Government’s Red List rules
