"I would like to reiterate the UK Government’s messages of thanks to everyone for all they have done so far in the fight against Coronavirus," writes Capt. Stuart McIntosh. "It is reported that social distancing is working and that we are past the peak but we cannot let up now and undo all our hard work. We must keep going to make sure it counts - and at Cowes Harbour that means continuing to stay off the water.

"Whilst I am very pleased to be welcoming three new Commissioners to our Board, we also have two Commissioners retiring this year, Andrew Cooper and Nick Elderfield, and I am very grateful to them both for their valuable contribution to CHC and our harbour’s strategic management and sustainable development.

"Following the usual annual review of General Directions and statutory consultation on proposed updates, a new set of revised General Directions has been published, which are also detailed in a Notice to Mariners.

"I hope that you, as well as your family and friends stay safe and well, and that we will be able to meet again soon."
