In addition to the full marina facilities available on site, there are several independent marine businesses based at Shepards Wharf - the Amabi Basque Restaurant, Solent Sails (sail maker and repairer), Island Divers, and Girls for Sail.
Solent Sails is Shepards Wharf's resident sail maker and repairer, delivering a wide range of goods and services, including new sails, cover work, and yacht fenders.
Solent Sails is owned and run by Mark and Julia Searson with assistance from their friendly labradors 'Bobby' and 'Charlie'!
If you’re thinking of having fun and doing a PADI scuba diving course, or you would just like to try scuba diving in a pool, then look no further than Island Divers at Shepards Wharf, the only PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Centre and Tec Rec Centre on the Isle of Wight.
Island Divers stock, or can order any equipment to suit your scuba diving, snorkelling, and swimming needs. They also run the Microdive RYA Basic Diver Programme, which was written for The Royal Yachting Association in 2012 and has now been made available for everyone to enjoy.
Situated within Shepards Wharf Marina, Amabi is one of only a handful of Basque restaurants within the United Kingdom.
Here, there is a fabulous dining spot which infuses authentic Basque Country cooking with the best, freshest Isle of Wight produce - along with a little inspiring innovation.
