Little Britain Challenge Cup Berthing at Shepards Wharf Marina - Cowes

Little Britain Challenge Cup Berthing

The Little Britain Challenge Cup (LBCC), held at Cowes Harbour Shepards Marina in Cowes, is renowned as the property and construction industry's top sailing regatta, and the event brings together hundreds of people from the industry to race, network and fund-raise for charities.

LBCC 2018
The Little Britain Challenge Cup will be returning to Shepards Marina again this year, from 14th to 15th September 2018. Watch this space for more news coming up!

In 2017, Little Britain was based at Shepards Marina in Cowes for the first time, and enjoyed the Marina's refurbished facilities, the popular Sugar Store Clubhouse and the superb views out over the River Medina and into the Solent.

The Island Sailing Club's race management team ran the LBCC racing. Novice crews and experienced teams were able to sail different courses, and by popular request, committee boat starts were introduced for all classes as well as passage racing for the cruising fleet.

Networking at Little Britain

Networking opportunities
After each day's racing, competitors socialised on the Shepards Marina pier or in the bar at The Sugar Store. There were live bands, DJs and great food offers for everyone to enjoy.
