Roger has held various senior Executive Director positions for companies in the European aerospace and defence sector. A long term Cowes resident, he is a keen cruiser sailor and diver, berthing his yacht in Cowes.

A former City director and Campaign Manager for a Westminster think tank, Claudia advises international firms on strategy; project, change and business management; governance and risk control. She has close links with Medina businesses and East Cowes, and provides pro bono advice to local charities and smaller businesses.

David Riley is a partner in a firm of Chartered Accountants and is a director of an international association of professional firms. A keen racing sailor, David grew up by the sea and has kept a boat in Cowes for the last 20 years.

Captain Peter Jackson moved to East Cowes in 2001 on retirement from the Royal Navy. His career included time in Whitehall and as an Attache overseas as well as a variety of sea appointments. He now teaches navigation to yachtsmen and sits on various local committees.
Marine Services (appointed 2008)

Commercial background of ship owning and ferry operations. Co-founder of RCYC Cowes and past flag officer. Presently Director of a marine services group and shareholder / director of a South Coast yacht sales and service company. Keen yachtsman with boat kept on Medina.
Business & Strategic Development (appointed 2010)
Jeff is the Managing Director at GKN Aerospace in East Cowes. He brings skills in general business management and development complimented with experience of dealing with local authorities, development agencies and government bodies. He is a qualified pilot and aircraft owner, regularly flying himself on business around the UK. He has been a West Cowes resident for the last 23 years.
Port Development (appointed 2010)
Former senior partner in a firm of south coast based Chartered Surveyors specializing in the marina industry, joint founder of Portsmouth Harbour Events and the Trident Forum, a network of professional advisors working with the marine industry. Keen yachtsman and regular Cowes Week competitor.

Jamie is a former Managing Director of American Express Bank and CIBC Investment Bank based in the UK. Jamie has sailed for most of his life and has been sailing from Cowes for the past 35 years.

Jeremy has been involved with the marine industry for most of his working life. Starting out as an apprentice shipwright in the early 70’s to his current position of owner of SeaSafe Systems Ltd in Cowes.
